COMMUNITY SUPPORTED COFFEE

What is a Coffee CSA?

All the benefits of a traditional CSA, but coffee! When you become a member of our Coffee CSA, you are making a commitment to drinking good coffee, but also to your community. As a local, family run business, we value each and every member and bag of coffee that you invest in. When you purchase from us, you are in turn supporting the local community, and those communities that cultivate the coffee crops that end up in your cup. Joining our Coffee CSA allows us to purchase high quality coffee and offer a wider selection of beans, at a better price for you!

How does it work?

The Fika Coffee CSA runs 13-52 weeks at a time, and is available in three sizes. Your CSA share will be available for pick-up at the selected market/pick-up location on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. â€‹

  • 12 weeks (3 months)

  • 26 weeks (6 months)

  • Double Share: 2 (12oz) bags every week - about 60 cups/week

COFFEE CSA FAQS

I don't see my market as a pickup location?

  • Currently, we only have our Coffee CSA at our year-round Farmers Markets. We do this so that our members can pickup their coffee share year-round.

What if I can't make it to a market to pickup my CSA share?

  • No worries. Just let us know that you can't make it to market to pickup. If you are local we can arrange delivery to your home or you can pick an additional coffee at the next market you attend.

What type of coffee will I receive with my Coffee CSA Share?

  • We currently offer 20 coffees and we are adding more all the time. When you come to pickup you coffee at a Farmers Market you will be able to choose any coffee that is available. We have organic, decaf, single origins, blends in light, medium and dark roasts. â€‹â€‹â€‹

I noticed the Coffee CSA's pricing is significantly less then pricing online or at Farmers Markets. Why is that?

  • We do everything possible to price our coffee fairly. Our Coffee CSA prices are less than what we sell at Farmers Markets and online. When you become a member of our Coffee CSA you are committing and prepaying for a Coffee Share. In turn, we can buy larger quantities of green coffee beans at better prices and we can count on a guaranteed income. Our goal through the Coffee CSA is to build a community of coffee drinkers/friends, not to turn a massive profit.
